Brief Note

The cluster was engaged in the conduct of Technology Assessment project to promote the application of low carbon technologies ASEAN – funded by Gov’t of Japan through IGES, this is part as an inter-cluster cooperation with Climate Change cluster. The project duration is from October 2018 to March 2019. Part of this project exercise include the conduct market research on low-carbon infrastructure technology and investigate/analyze the situation of installation of environmental equipment for promotion of renewable energy and energy conservation – for 5 assigned countries; conduct desk study on market trends of these countries, investigate and analyze political system, policy framework and institutional arrangement, investments, etc.; environment and energy policies, Energy saving trend in industrial field and carried out scoping exercise in Indonesia on application of low carbon technologies.
